Cross-posting (posting the same message in multiple forums) is confusing and clutters the boards. If a message is cross-posted, we will close all but one of the posts.
Posting advertisements is not permitted.
No duplicate accounts.
No suicide notes. Posts that appear to be goodbye letters because a person is contemplating suicide will be closed, and the member will be referred to real-time help from their family members or doctors and to a hotline (http://suicidehotline.com) where they can seek help immediately.
Use common sense. Never give out your full name, address, or phone number online. Make sure you take every precaution before agreeing to meet someone you meet online.
